Mets 11, Reds 7 – Pedro’s return and 3,000th strikeout two nights ago, last night, Paul Lo Duca does something he hasn’t done in six years: hit two home runs in a game. Lo Duca had seven RBIs in the game as the Mets had a five-run sixth.

Dodgers 6, Cubs 2 – Matt Kemp has four hits as the Dodgers wreck Steve Trachsel’s first start this season in a Cub uniform.  The Dodgers turned five double plays on the NorthSiders.

Angels 4, Athletics 3 – Garret Anderson, surging late in the season.  GA adds another two-run homer in the sixth inning on top of Howie Kendrick’s two run shot, getting Jered Weaver the win.

Red Sox 5, Blue Jays 3 – Roy Halladay leads the majors in complete games, yet throws this one for a loss, as Josh Beckett gets to 17 wins first. Jacoby Ellsbury was a double short of the cycle.

Phillies 5, Braves 2 – Chipper Jones bitches about the strike zone as Kyle Lohse keeps the Braves in check. Ryan Howard jacks #37 on the year.

Yankees 12, Mariners 3 – Chien-Ming Wang joins Beckett with his 17th win, keeping the Mariners down. List of Yankees who homered: A-Rod, Bobby Abreu, and Jorge Posada. List of Yankees with four hits: Posada, Abreu, and Robinson Cano.
