Has Lloyd Carr’s Head Been Put On A Spike Yet?

I don’t care how good a I-AA team is — and the Appalachian State Mountaineers are a damn fine I-AA team — Michigan shouldn’t be losing to them. I lucked out on a Canadian radio link to UM’s radio network to catch the second half, and that shit was amazing. Incredible, incredible game, with it being won via blocked field goals on the part of Appalachian State. Final score, 34-32, and they’re chugging the booze and burning furniture in Boone, North Carolina tonight.

Does Lloyd Carr survive the season with his head intact? It’s worth asking right now, because there were already questions and rumors that he might leave of his own volition after the season, or be fired if he lost another game to Ohio State. Now, it’s not whether he goes, but whether the athletic department in Ann Arbor will fire him or ask him to leave. That was absolutely embarrassing, to be outplayed like that.

As for App State, it’s HOT HOT HOT.

  1. You should’ve seen it live. It was crazy. I was screaming like a 13 year old girl, something I don’t do regularly, I might add. LLoyd Carr’s career is a wrap. No way to come back from this.

  2. I am a Michigan fan and I have already written on my blog that he should resign….this is a freakin disgrace….

  3. Safe to say that Lloyd Carr should probably update his resume.
