Another One For The Creepy Coach File.

First we get the Georgia golf coach who thought it was a good idea to show his female players the Paris Hilton sex video. Then we get the former AFL player and high school coach who decides that the back of a 17-year old is perfect for his own personal bukkake. Now, we are given the gift of Florida A&M coach Mike Gillespie, fresh off an appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning the play in game this year (and getting the honor of being beaten by Kansas), and being arrested on misdeameanor stalking charges. Apparently, a woman had reported being stalked by the coach (who, of course, is happily married with two adult kids) last Thursday and Friday, but it’s apparently not a first time thing for Gillespie:

The report said police have investigated Gillespie several times since March 2005 on stalking complaints and warned the 56-year-old to stop his behavior. It was not immediately clear who made the complaints.

Gillespie’s attorney, Tim Jansen, said that the coach had been released and is subject to GPS monitoring and is not to have contact with the woman. Gillespie is married and has two adult children. His son, Mike Gillespie Jr., is his top assistant.

See, the subject to GPS is what gets me. Does this mean he could wear an ankle bracelet or already does? I bet that might be tough to explain if it went off during practice: “Oh shit, I’m within 500 feet!”
