So, the scuttlebutt that was surrounding the Southern Cal campus for months is now coming true: wayward Arkansas QB Mitch Mustain, in the wake of the mess that is Las Cronicas Locas de Boss Hawg (TM EDSBS) has enrolled at USC, will sit out the upcoming season, and prep to compete with Mark Sanchez for the 2008 starting job, as John David Booty is a senior this year.
Pete Carroll has the ability to somehow recruit an arsenal at positions the Trojans are already loaded at every year, and he’s already set himself up to have a QB battle for Booty’s successor after he left, which is an embarrassment of success in recruiting and name-retention as a program that coaches would kill for. When he lost out on any hope of getting Jimmy Clausen, he simply got the previous year’s highly recruited QB along with WR Damian Williams, his good friend and high school teammate, I believe. Never mind that this year’s squad has five blue chip RBs on it, including C.J. Gable, Emmanuel Moody, and Chauncey Washington, who split the load last year and will have to fight off incoming frosh Joe McKnight for carries.
This is probably why the Trojans are always top five nowadays — good coaching staffs in the college ranks always look to next year’s recruiting as soon as the current year is done, and the transfer market is just as valuable at times.

New gadgets and fashion are emerging every day, leading us to buy without rationally thinking trough if we really need that product or not. Thoughtless buying leads to the ingestion of all the natural resources and to the endless growth of garbage piles, thous killing our planet.
If you think too, that this is a problem let’s do something about it. Let’s keep just one week, for starters, when we would think about if we really need the product we are about to buy, and if we don’t need it let’s put it back on the shelf. June 1-7. Spread the word.

Unplugged team
[...] Mustain’s road has been a long, hard one. But the turmoil for now is over as he accepts an invitation to join Pete Carroll and the USC Trojans for the remainder of his college career and tries to break into the game on the West [...]
Does this officially make USC’s victory last year over Arkansas the most total victory since the Battle of Jericho?
Not only did they invade their land and destroy the army, they plundered the village.
Southern Cali and Arkansas are so similiar in culture, he should have no problem adjusting.
Will Mustain transfer again if Sanchez beats him out? I see Af2 or NFL Europa in his future.
I couldn’t recruit this well on Play Station. I tried too…set it to JV and everything.
Jon – it’s the complete Viking special.
Commish – that’s predicated on Sanchez beating him out. Sanchez has been well hyped in SoCal since Leinart was there, and people were talking about him as Leinart’s successor, but Booty stepped in. We’ll see.
Honestly, everything about this Mustain kid smells of bust and future terrible jersey nominee
Mustain, his mom, and Mayo.. SC’s gonna be fun this fall

What can i say, it all sounds very suspect to me.
Maybe the offer at the USC is better than of Arkansas. Anyway, I believe that Mitch Mustain has his own personal reasons to vacate his team and go to the other one.
